Genghis Khan (Чингиc Хаан),born Temujin (Тэмүүжин), also know as (Jenghiz and Chingis) was one of the most influential people ever born. He unified the wild tribes of Central Asia , conquered more territory than any other conqueror, and established the biggest empire in history.

Genghis Khan was tough and brutal, He was also tactically brilliant, charismatic and in the right place at the right time leader.

He first began an invasion to neighboring parts of China. By 1215 virtually all of China north of the Huang He (Yellow River) belonged to him. Etablished capital at Karakorum in what is now Mongolia.

In 1219 Genghis Khan turned southwest and plundered what are now parts of Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, India, Afghanistan, and Iran.

The flourishing cities of Tashkent, Bukhara, Samarkand, Nishapur, and Herat were sacked and their inhabitants slaughtered.

He had a rule of thumb that if you surrender he let you live if you resist he will be punishment of god.

In 1222 the Mongol hordes overran the Caucasus and southern Russian regions under control of Genghis Khan's combat generals.

He also was a great lover , 25% percent of the worlds' population is somewhat direct descendant of him. He was very well established ruler that he introduced concept of religious tolerance to the land that he conquered and equal treatment of women.

It is said that his rule vow was so strong that a virgin woman could actually walk across the Mongolia from one end to other completely unmolested .

I guess it was pretty safe under his rule especially for women :)

Did You Know? Chingis not Genghis

For starters, he would correct the pronunciation of his name. Real Mongolian name of Genghis Khan is Chinggis Khaan.

Then he would probably take the owner of every vodka distillery, travel company, restaurants and cheese factory who uses his name to commercialize their products and trample them under the hooves of ten thousand horses.

Death and Burial

In 1227, after defeating the Tangut people, Genghis Khan died (according to The Secret History of the Mongols - Мoнгoлын Нууц Тoвчoo).

The reason for his death is uncertain and speculations abound. Some historians maintain that he fell off his horse during a horseback pursuit from the land of present day Egypt due to battle wounds and physical fatigue, ultimately dying of his injuries. Others contend that he was felled by a protracted illness such as pneumonia.

Genghis Khan asked to be buried without markings, according to the customs of his tribe. After he died, his body was returned to Mongolia and presumably to his birthplace in Khentii Aimag.

It is said that after the burial the tomb site was stampeded over by many horse soliders and trees were planted so that the real location of the tomb remains a secret till now.

After many many years,in 2004 a joint Mongolian-Japanese archaeological team conducted search but didn't find the burial site. Maybe it can be good think though, if i remember correctly there is a Mongolian saying that "If you dig out great khan's or great leader's tomb then consequence would be huge and it would be omen for next big war." Who knows?

Chinngis Khan is one of the most misinterpreted people in history. He employed battle tactics that wouldn't be seen again until the 20th century. The Mongols invented both psychological and chemical warfare as well. (psychological may have started with the Huns but Genghis employed it more effectively.)

What are you referring to when you say chemical warfare.

Chingis Khan is a hero because he didn't want to kill everyone but he wanted his country to have more power because the chinese made fun of the mongols so he got made and started to invade
